About

I build products, create content and teach what I learn. I learned piano by drawing the keys on a sheet of school notebook paper — maybe that explains the rest.

Three acts

  1. 2006 – 2014

    Create

In 2006, in Ouro Branco (Minas Gerais, Brazil), I got my first digital camera — the first photos and videos came from the Serra do Ouro Branco. I saw something I had captured myself on the screen and knew I'd be doing it for a long time. It became a career: I was “the André who makes videos”, started a company, shot weddings, directed a short film, covered shows and events and produced music videos. Nearly ten years in audiovisual. I was good at creating and bad at running a business, and it never held up the way it should have.

  2. 2014 – 2024

    Deliver

In 2014 my daughter was born and I needed real stability. I sold the gear, kept only the computer and, in 2015, moved into tech as a developer. Another ten years: I worked at Hotmart and Grupo Boticário and was a partner in businesses that still exist today. I learned to deliver on deadline, with quality and accountability — I learned to operate. In May 2021 I published the first video of the channel then called Cereja Tech: an attempt to keep the creative side alive while programming paid the bills. In 2024 I moved with my family to Portugal, where I live today.

  3. 2024 onward

    Integrate

The two sides were never separate things, and it was when I understood that the rest made sense. Today I build SaaS products on my own, with the discipline ten years of engineering gave me and the creative freedom ten years of audiovisual never let me forget. I document the process in public, mistakes included.

What I do today

Build

My main product is ThreadRecap, a WhatsApp conversation analysis tool focused on documenting disputes. I keep other projects at various stages, always as a solo builder.

Create

On @andredaniel I share the journey of building SaaS in public and interview founders who actually make money. On @okandredaniel I review tech in the tone that was always mine — more personal than technical.

Teach

Through the SOLO Method I offer 1:1 mentoring for people who want to build and ship SaaS without losing their way. Two formats: SOLO Diagnosis to unblock a specific point and SOLO Cycle for continuous guidance.

Where to find me

Available for partnerships, mentoring or just a good conversation about product.
